I started playing guitar at the age of 11 (almost 30 years ago now) strumming to Beatles-songs, folk-songs and easy kind of music.
The first band I joined with 18, playing Deep Purple and ZZTop covers and also some own compositions.
I had lessons from the beginning on, and went to a high school after the "normal" school to study rock/pop guitar for ~5 years.
Trying different local bands through the years I joined another cover-band, doing a lot of different stuff like Billy Idol,
Living Colour, Toto, Van Halen and other Rock-Classics, playing in small clubs or small festivals for some years.
Due to my job I had a break for maybe 5,6 years where I didn't even touch my beloved guitars :-(
A new band is now currently forming, we will see where this will lead me..
My alltime favorite guitar heroes are Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai and John Petrucci.
